SLOAN COACHING
Meet Your Coach
Megan Sloan has been a lifelong endurance athlete from the ripe age of 10 years old. She started her life as a gymnast and transitioned to running by the time she was in middle school and never looked back.
She competed in High School Track and Field in the 400m, 4x400m, and 800m races. She found her true love for endurance running in college at the University of Illinois. She ran multiple half marathons throughout college and even completed her first marathon 1 week before graduation in 2010, finishing on the 50 yard line of Memorial Stadium in Champaign, IL.
After college, Megan turned into a "weekend warrior" and flew across the country with friends to race as often as she could. By 2013 she was introduced to triathlon and less than a year later, she completed her first full Ironman triathlon in Madison Wisconsin.
Having finished 10 full Ironmans and 18 marathons, qualified for the Boston Marathon, and competed in the 70.3 Ironman World Championships, Megan is ready to help you tackle your goals with a customized approach that will make you wonder "why didn't I do this sooner?"

A note from Megan
The endurance world has taught me more about life than any college course or exam. The beauty in endurance is that there are many rewards to be found during a difficult path. Learning to take yourself outside of your comfort zone is a skill most wouldn't fathom, but it's something I can't live without. My passion for this sport bleeds into all aspects of my life and I want nothing more than to help you reach your goals and have the opportunity to see what the endurance world can do for you.
